Identification
Aikan's technology addresses the challenge of waste management and provides a sustainable alternative for the production of energy, fertilizer and compost.
Aikan uses waste instead of burning or disposing of it, providing a smart waste management solution for governments and companies. Aikan's technology is capable of using a mixed waste stream with varying degrees of impurities. Through the hydrolysis of the waste, Aikan produces natural gas that is used for cogeneration of electricity and heat. Once this process is complete, the remaining solid waste is then sold as fertilizer and compost.
