MaGie creations: turning food waste into food ingredients

MaGie Creations aims to create a world where food waste is not seen as the end, but as a new beginning. MaGie Creations aims to achieve this by creating sustainable and healthy food products from food waste. The first food waste stream focused on is beer grain (officially known as Brewer's Spent Grains, BSG). Every year, 560 kton of beer grain is produced in the Netherlands alone. The majority of these grains are currently fed to milk cattle. But beer grain is still incredibly tasty and contains valuable nutrients, such as protein, fibre and amino acids. This is why MaGie Creations collects beer grain from breweries and converts it into food ingredients, offering significantly more sustainable and healthy ingredients compared to traditional ones.
