Identification
Since 2012, Dom'Innov has been developing and manufacturing Blokiwood, a 100% wood pre-insulated load-bearing wall solution for the construction of prefabricated, tailor-made, biosourced and high-performance wooden houses. This product makes it possible to enhance species and sizes of wood not used in construction. The assembly of different modules (standard or tailor-made) allows the construction to be carried out like a Lego set. It is aimed at all players in the building industry and individuals, wood specialists or not.

The environmental benefits
- •For a 100 m² house, BLOKIWOOD has half of the CO2 emissions compared to the mainstream alternative (concrete) just in terms of materials production, without even accounting for the carbon captured by the wood.
- •Valorisation of the use of softwood lumber in construction, with a 50% hardwood 50% softwood mix in the composition of our panels used for the manufacture of BLOKIWOOD modules
- •In a classic masonry construction, 30% of the thermal losses are caused by “thermal bridges“: there are no thermal bridges in the Blokiwood solution.
- •A Blokiwood site produces practically no waste compared to a concrete site
