Identification
The Solution is based on an innovative approach of recirculating and recycling the main reagents to produce high purity rare earth oxides while generating less waste solvent or toxic by-products.
The Geomega Solution aims at providing an environmentally sustainable and profitable solution to recover rare earth elements from permanent magnets and other mining sources. The technology has been developed to address some of the intrinsic challenges faced in conventional Solvent Extraction (SX), where the most advanced improvements and decades of operational experience are all in China. Geomega Solution can increase recycling of end of life products and create a sustainable and independent supply of rare earth outside of China. Most importantly, neodymium magnet producers will finally be able to recycle manufacturing waste efficiently and without affecting the environment.
