Sign upA co2-free service of high value goods shipping for companies on sailing vessels
Shipping emissions account for 4.5% of global emissions.TOWT is a free-CO2 emission cargo ship transportation service targeting companies to transport their high-value products sustainably.
TOWT is specialised since 2011 in the transport of goods by sail. It is reviving an ecological mode of transport by using the force of the wind, largely abundant and predictable in the open sea, to draw the contours of a low-carbon maritime logistics system. With the construction of modern sail cargo ships with a carrying capacity of 1000T, TOWT is initiating a change of scale for the decarbonisation of the sector. While adressing the challenges of a sector responsible for around 3% of world GHG emissions and 10% of world sulfur emissions, TOWT enhance the value of products and their origins, with a certification "Shipped by sail" affixed on products, bringing transparency in a sector in which opacity rules.
