About

ADEQUATEC has developed and put on market a cutting edge technology for biological sludge dewatering called ADEQUAPRESS. It is based on the simple and proved principle of Archimedes screw. Introduced in French market since 2007, this ecologic solution has already over 50 references in France and abroad. The ADEQUAPRESS dehydration process is considered by utilities and its customer as a formidable tool for energy efficiency. Indeed, the ADEQUAPRESS generates electricity saving of more than 95% compared to conventional centrifuge decanters that equips 70% of wastewater treatment plants (WWTP) in France and developed countries. The water saving is more than 98% compared to Belt presses, the second technology that equips the other 30% and added chemicals economy is more than 50% compared to both mentioned technologies. ADEQUATEC has been awarded since 2010 the first prize of innovation in Ecotechnologies by French Ministry of Ecology and the ADEME (French National Energy Saving Agency. However, market shift was not easy even after COP21 and energy transition laws promulgation.
