Founded in 2015, Biofire collect and transform agro forestry waste into solid biofuel and bio fertilizer.
We present different product, wood briquettes, coal, compressed coal and biochar.
Wood Briquettes
Description
Our briquettes are made from forest and agricultural chips.
The chips used are dried a second time to achieve a moisture content of less than 10%, which allows perfect cohesion of wood, optimal combustion and warm flames! No additional additives are needed to ensure the consistency of our briquettes. The high pressures developed by the press create a strong rise in temperature. Under the effect of heat, the lignin naturally contained in the wood releases and cooling becomes a natural binder. Our briquettes are ideally suited for home use. The briquettes are suitable for all types of fireplaces: open fires, cassettes, stoves, etc.

Ecological coal
Description
Our coal is manufactured at the base of the wood briquette, the process involves charring the briquette manufactured
Our coal is carbonized in special oven. he is: own - Dose not dirty your hands. - One lets little ash: less than 11%. Practice - Combustion long. 3 times more than the traditional coal - Calorific value: 7 kWh / kg. - Compact: easy to use, carry and store.

Biochar
Description
Biochar is a bio fertilizer composed of plant residues transformed by pyrolysis.
A lot of materials can be transformed: green waste, manure ect. The porous structure of biochar allows it to store nutrients like a sponge. It also sequesters the carbon that plants incorporate as CO2 during their growth. Instead of being released into the atmosphere, CO2 remains buried in the soil in a useful and sustainable way. In the form of fine particles combined with organic matter (mature compost), biochar can be introduced into a wide variety of soils and environments. It can increase soil productivity and create long-lasting fertility through several positive effects: stimulation of soil biology, improvement of nutrient retention, increase of water retention capacity in soils, pH increase of acid soils and increase of organic matter in the soil. However, the impact of biochar is greater in degraded or depleted soils than in those already rich in organic matter. the biochar would behave like a (re) structurator of the soil.
