Our end-to-end transaction software connects the two fragmented and intransparent industries of recycling and plastic conversion/manufacturing. The key factors why plastic does not get recycled more frequently (and thus ends up in the oceans) are threefold: a) the price of recycled plastics vs. virgin plastic is too high; b) not enough quality recycled material is available (supply shortage); and c) the industry of recycling and plastic conversion is extremly low-tech. cirplus is lowering the transaction cost for recycled plastic on the backheels of sweeping new European and national legislation mandating circular economy solutions. Our platform will provide procurement & sales as a service for the recycling & plastic processing industries - from unsorted waste to regrind, regranulates and compounds. We are standardizing recyclates and input streams and create transparency about globally available quantities and qualities of recycled plastics (spot & contract tenders).
