DIRISOLAR
DIRISOLAR, the first Solar all weather Airship electrically powered. 0% CO2, able to fly many days until 50km/h winds.
Dirisolar is an innovative airship project based around two innovations including an exclusive to the start-up. The aggregation of proven technologies in other areas has made it possible to design an innovative airship with respect to existing or pre-existing airship.
The technologies used in the Dirisolar project (tubular structure, tendons, tissues and helium envelope) are all widely proven innovations. They are used for applications in other sectors than aeronautics.

Description
DIRISOLAR, the first Solar all-weather Airship electrically powered. 0% CO2, able to fly non stop during many days.
DIRISOLAR is 50m long, 15 m wide, and 12 m high. Its payload of 450kg is able to adress 2 types of market: 1 pilot and 4 passengers for tourism. With 1 pilot the usefull remaining payload of 375kg enables to carry all type of sensors and devices for surveillance mission and data capture. Thanks to its very advanced aerodynamics protected by a patent, it is able to fly until 50km/h, without any external assistance. This is a tremendous advantage compared to conventional Airships or hot ait balloons. As a consequence, the availability is 90%, and its operating costs dramatically reduced. An unmanned version is already under developpement. Totally energically autonomous, it will be able to fly undefinitely. It will be the right platform for scientific and climatology studies.
