EcoCinetic
EcoCinetic develops and markets innovative water turbines using the hydrocinetic energy of waterways to produce electricity for isolated off-grid communities.
EcoCinetic technology is a robust water turbine, easy to assemble, to install and to maintain. It has been designed for tropical climates. EcoCinetic has more than 5 years feedback on performances both from water channel experiments and exploitation in Africa and in Europe.
Hydrobox EcoCinetic: Run-of-river hydrokinetic turbines
Description
EcoCinetic offers to off-grid collectivities independency in electricity by using the natural energy of waterways.
More than 1,3 billion people do not have access to electricity nowadays, when many of them live close to a river offering a free and natural energy, often permanently: the hydrokinetic energy. Off-grid villages commonly use diesel generators, an expensive and polluting way to produce electricity. Hydrokinetic water turbines offer a much cheaper electricity with a minimal impact to the natural environment. An hydrokinetic water turbine produces enough to satisfy the needs of several households, substantially improving living conditions: lighting, recharging of mobile phones or computers batteries, power supply of domestic appliances and electrical tools, ligting of schools and dispensaries.
