Keppel Seghers designs, builds and operates top performance waste-to-energy plants worldwide based on our proprietary world class technologies, as we are convinced it is a sustainable solution to the global waste issue.

When processed in our waste-to-energy plants, 1 ton of waste covers the electricity needs of 1 family for 3 months, saving 250l of oil. Our waste-to-energy plants reduce the volume of waste by 20, and enable better ferrous- and non-ferrous metal recycling. Ashes are treated to be recycled in construction. By diverting from landfilling and recovering the energy from waste, every 1 ton of waste processed in our waste-to-energy plant avoids 1060kg CO2 emission.
