About
LeafTech provides data services to building automation and smart home systems needing to transition from reactive to proactive control to increase efficiency and comfort. We merge and synergize all relevant information of the building, its surroundings, user behavior, past energy consumption patterns, and local weather conditions into a digital twin of the building. Based on our self-developed virtual sensors and machine learning algorithms we establish a thermal model of the building to provide data for optimal real-time control (e.g. shading system and light control) and can forecast upcoming energy demands and operating points. With Leaftech’s solution, a building could be transformed into a truly smart building

Depending on the architecture (height, etc.) and surrounding environment (direction of sun, time of year, wind, etc.) in correlation with strategically placed sensors outside of the facade, the shading system will pull out or retract accordingly. This ensures an accurately controlled environment inside of the building.
