We design and manufacture a full range of chemical formulations to treat cooling towers, steam boilers and closed loop systems, focusing on reducing production costs, saving energy and water, at limited product consumption, minimizing our environmental foot print. After 14 years of existence, ODYSSEE Environnement is organized with 4 sites in France: One manufacturing plant including our Research and Development Laboratory in Requeil 72, one Service Department with two local offices in Paris and Lyon - The Export Management and the Executive Committee based in Paris and Lons. ODYSSEE Environnement supports positive initiatives, for example by sponsoring the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic triathlon, by signing the Act4Nature. We were proud winning the innovation grand PRIX ENTREPRISES & ENVIRONNEMENT in 2018. Nowadays, ODYSSEE, it is more than 70 people dedicated to industrial water treatment, used to work with disruptive technologies as already proven by the success of our Film Forming Product (FFP), another specificity of ODYSSEE recognized throughout the world. Rather than treating large amount of water, the FFP focus on what is essential: metal surfaces. Coating all of them, the FFP comes up with a very good corrosion inhibition and shows further benefits as, a very low dosing rate, a cost-effective price, energy saving, low environmental impact. The market is huge, greater than 5 billion €uro. Thank to those FFP, being a symbol of innovation, inventiveness, ODYSSEE Environnement has come a long way in a short time. Lately, our international growth, setting up a distribution network over 28 countries in the world, in Europe, in north, central and south America and Africa, allows us to set up two subsidiaries, one in Germany and the other in Mexico. ODYLIFE is our latest flagship innovation. It is used to avoid scaling into all industrial water system. It participates greatly to the development of the green economy, the carbon-light economy as well as the circular economy: all the majors news economical tendencies. Made from renewable resources, ODYLIFE avoids uses of harmful substances (phosphates or polyacrylates, chemical synthesis from petroleum sources). Our objective is to replace those existing solutions relying on mining and fossil resources with an environmentally friendly solution. Thus, switching to ODYLIFE means having a Responsible Consumption and Production in line with some of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and ISO 26000. It is undertaking a concrete action promoting Corporate Social Responsibility policy.
