About

Solum is a leading Spanish technology company in renewable energy and sustainable mobility. Founded in 2019, Solum stems from the bold vision of harnessing urban spaces to generate renewable energy and bring it closer to points of consumption. After over two years of research and development, we have created an unprecedented innovation: solar pavement powered by photovoltaic technology. Our solar pavement is a revolutionary solution that generates clean energy without compromising urban aesthetics. This pioneering technology contributes to more sustainable urban environments, and currently, we are focused on promoting sustainable mobility with charging stations for personal mobility vehicles. We are manufacturers of solar parking and charging points for electric scooters and bicycles. Thanks to our patented photovoltaic pavement, we ensure renewable energy and independent installation anywhere in the city. Our internally designed products are efficient and sustainable. Our mission is to promote sustainable mobility in cities through light electric vehicles like scooters and bicycles. Despite millions of these vehicles filling the streets of Spain, the lack of infrastructure limits their potential. Solum addresses this limitation, ensuring accessible and sustainable light electric mobility. Since our introduction in 2022, we have made exceptional progress. With over 500 charging points in 10 countries, we have benefited more than 1,200 users, saving over 3 tons of CO2. Our technological focus is on photovoltaic energy generation and IoT intelligence. Our B2B business model offers solutions designed and manufactured by us, with annual recurring services for stable revenues. This allows us to build lasting relationships and provide sustainable and cost-effective solutions. Our distinction lies in 100% sustainable and self-sufficient charging stations thanks to our photovoltaic pavement, crucial in a market focused on sustainability. With international expansion in Italy, France, and Germany, our goal in 2023 is to achieve a turnover of one million euros, consolidating our impact on the industry and society.
