About

SDF believes that circular economy based sustainable communities (Circular-Sustainable Communities (CSC) are possible if zero carbon and waste are designed into the community from its inception. The community can learn to function in a collaborative, holistic fashion and apply circular economy principles that are designed into the community plan and infrastructures. Instead of relying on centralized utilities for water, sanitation, energy and solid waste removal, the community can be designed to function as standalone, self-sufficient entities. This model is similar to the pre-Industrial Revolution societies common in rural United States and Europe in the early 19th century. SDF’s goal is to utilize proven technology to create decentralized, circular economy communities that can provide services, job opportunities and living comforts comparable to those that our prevalent in our centralized, linear economy urban centers. This can be accomplished by partnering for the goals and creating a industry that is focused on sharing best practices for the planning, design and construction of CSCs. The Covid pandemic has proven that quality work can be accomplished anywhere as long as broadband infrastructure is available. 5G wireless cornerstone of a CSC to empower low income families and to allow for Smart City technology and infrastructures to be incorporated to address critical requirements for families such as security, law enforcement and transportation.
