About

Transform Materials mature technology uses non-thermal microwave plasma to convert methane to acetylene and hydrogen (i.e. no low value carbon solids at all, no CO2). Acetylene is a valuable raw material in many large industrial processes that would greatly benefit from green raw materials including PVC, 1,4-butanediol (used to make chloroprene for adhesives, neoprene rubber among others), pharma/vitamins, acetylene black and many more. We are in the process of working on designs for our first plants and are working toward to beginning construction in the near future.
