About
The Union des GVC (Cooperative groups) d'Artisans du Nord was founded in January 1983 at Korhogo. It comprises several cooperatives and has a total membership of more than 1200 artisans today, skilled in weaving, crochet, hand painting of fabrics, pottery, wood carving and bronze casting.
An Arts and Crafts Center was inaugurated at Korhogo in March 1986.
