Untapped: Unlock the Potential of the Next Billion

UNTAPPED is a last-mile distribution platform serving rapidly urbanizing regions in developing countries. Decentralized "off-grid" water treatment centers produce our anchor product — affordable, clean water. These sites act as local distribution hubs, and provide an efficient distribution channel to small independent retail shops that serve underserved consumers. This platform provides consumers a reliable and affordable source of clean water. It also improves the supply chain for small retailers, boosting incomes for micro-entrepreneurs and increasing availability of a variety of basic products and services. At the same time, we increase access to clean water for underserved communities with a scalable and financially-sustainable model. We place particular focus on scalable tools to run things more efficiently: mobile IT, systems and standards for operations, data for better decisions, and technology for quality control.
