Green energy and composts production from solid waste
Aikan uses waste instead of burning or disposing of it, providing a smart waste management solution for governments and companies. Aikan's technology is capable of using a mixed waste stream with varying degrees of impurities. Through the hydrolysis of the waste, Aikan produces natural gas that is used for cogeneration of electricity and heat. Once this process is complete, the remaining solid waste is then sold as fertilizer and compost.

The Solum Group is Denmark's largest supplier of compost, growth media and grass care products. We create value by integrating waste management, biogas production as well as production and advice on a wide range of soil improvers.
