BioStart develops technological solutions in the field of water depollution for people (local authorities, manufacturers, agricultural entrepreneurs, water operators, ...) having to face some of the major environmental challenges of the 21st century, . In order to address major global concerns regarding the environmental impact of emerging pollutants in European waters, we have developed BIOSFILTER, a cost-efficient and eco-friendly treatment efficiently depolluting both drinking water and wastewater treatment plants from micropollutants. The BIOSFILTER solution uses a new polymer, developed as an agent at capturing micropollutants.

The Environmental Benefits

  • The BIOSFILTER system neutralises a wide range of pollutants (85%)
  • BIOSTARFILTER is particularly effective as an agent for capturing heavy metals achieving reductions up to 70%

  • Neutralises 85% of pollutants compared with 35% for techniques currently in use
