DELTA X is a technological solution for dairy farms that reduces ammonia emissions by 70% and CO2 emissions by 25% and increases profitability by 345€/year/cow. This results from the division by 2 of hoof, Mortellaro and mastitis diseases, and the increase from 2.8 to 3.2 in the number of lactations. Diseases of paws, Mortellaro, mastitis and ammonia and CO2 emissions are currently mainly caused by the liquid / solid mixture (slurry) and its prolonged exposure to air and contacts with animals. The DELTA X system is easily installed by the breeder both in existing and new barns. The return on investment is 3.3 years, excluding any aid depending on the country.
