The HyLighter is a zero-emission airship designed to inspect energy infrastructures, and specifically methane leaks and power lines, in a more sustainable way. Powered by clean hydrogen, it can fly for up to 10 hours, covering long distances while using advanced sensors to collect precise data. Unlike traditional helicopters, which are costly and emit high levels of CO2, the HyLighter offers an eco-friendly, cost-effective solution. It detects issues, such as methane leaks, with high accuracy, helping companies maintain their networks efficiently and supporting global efforts to reduce carbon emissions.

The Environmental Benefits

  • The HyLighter airship is powered by hydrogen fuel cells, meaning it produces no CO2 emissions during flight. This makes it an environmentally friendly alternative for inspecting large energy infrastructure like pipelines and power lines
  • Long-Distance Capability: HyLighter can inspect up to 350 km of infrastructure in a single flight, lasting up to 10 hours, without the need for refueling or recharging. This allows for more efficient, large-scale inspections compared to traditional method
  • Our solution provide an effective solution to decrease the impact of methane leaks worldwide by better detecting the weaknesses on industry infrastructures. Our zero emission solution could avoid up to 6% of greenhouse gas from the industry globally
  • HyLighter produces zero CO₂, compared to helicopters emitting 10 tons per 10-hour mission. Covering 300 km per flight, it's 5000 times less polluting. It uses hydrogen, minimizing energy use and noise, while requiring less maintenance and fewer resources
