The electrical energy produced by the photovoltaic modules is stored in batteries to be released during night periods. The optimal use consists in lighting public places as well as roads or private places. These street lamps are equipped with intelligent controllers, optionally with remote control, which carry out the battery charge/discharge functions, including all safety features, as well as all lighting functions, either from an astronomical clock and simple programming, or by detecting sunset and sunrise and/or time sequences. They are incorporated in the foot of the mast with secure closure. These controllers can also capture : outdoor temperature, humidity, wind strength, pollution, etc.
