Compared to the traditional 19’’ server size, the 21’’ form factor of the OCtoPus solution pushes the density of its servers to the next level. Mutualizing certain components makes it possible to reduce energy consumption by up to 23% compared to equivalent conventional systems. This strong commitment to Green IT gives clients a major competitive advantage, bearing in mind that energy can account for up to around 40% of their server operating costs. At 2CRSi, it is believed that IT can be reconciled with the planet.

- •18 big mutualized fans at the level of the rack increase energy savings
- •Improved space efficiency and thermal dissipation in the servers make it possible to reduce power consumption by up to 23% compared to equivalent 19'' conventional systems
- •Servers are independent from the racks, which integrate fans and power inputs and can be 100% reused in case of a server upgrade
