Geosophy allows real estate and construction professionals to assess the geo-energy potential of the subsoil of a building to be renovated or built. They can thus cool their buildings in summer and heat them in winter, dividing their energy costs by 5, and reducing the carbon footprint of a building by up to 90%. Geo-energy, or surface geothermal energy, is a local, sustainable, non-carbonated, discreet and silent energy from the shallow subsoil, which at this stage is largely under-exploited in France. This solution is based on our ability to develop Physics and financial models, using data science and machine learning techniques to automatize and refine feasibility studies of geo-energy installations.
The Environmental Benefits
- •In 2022, Geosophy has processed 10,319,090 square meters of buildings, avoiding a total of 68,530 tons of CO2 per year, as well as 29,096k € per year in charges to its clients
- •Geosophy has more than 1000 subscribers on its platform, has performed more than 3,500 tests and 200 opportunity scans
- •By 2026, Geosophy's solution makes it possible to avoid 380,000 tonnes of CO2 equivalent, i.e. the equivalent of 7% of the emissions of Paris (source: GPC carbon assessment of the Paris territory from the PCAET 2014 assessment)
- •Our clients can cool their buildings in summer and heat them in winter, reducing the carbon footprint of a building by up to 90%
