Identification

Aqua Assist boosts microbial activity in any wastewater treatment facility of any size and is designed to prevent sludge production up to 70+%.

The biocatalyst accelerates microbial activity and the degradation of organic matter through biological digestion – either aerobic and anaerobic depending on the application. Aqua Assist has been successfully applied to wastewater treatment and industrial pig farms, remediating sludge and manure. Biosolids reduction between 30% and 70+% has been repeatedly observed as the main impact of using the solution. In addition, findings from university studies include odor and hydrogen sulfide reductions of up to 43% and 50% respectively.

Implementation Stories

Aqua Assist by Drylet, Inc.
Implemented by Hera group in Sassuolo (Italy) in 2021

HERA group, Italy’s second largest wastewater treatment operator firstly tested the Drylet’s Solution for a 94-day trial in April 2020, followed by a contract in October 2021. In preparation for the trial, Drylet collected historical data to create a digital twin of the facility and could define the product application protocol. The biocatalyst then started being dosed into the aeration basin at the rate of 3 kg per day. To this day, Drylet provides ongoing technical support through weekly meetings and in-person visits.

Result

29% hauled sludge reduction & ⍬100,000 net annual savings
