Imagine a world where any underground structure, including parking garages, basements, tunnels, and pedways, can be turned into a clean thermal energy source for buildings. Enerdrape can make this happen. Enerdrape develops the first available modular, prefabricated, and scalable geothermal panel technology that allows turning any new or existing underground infrastructure into a renewable source for the heating and cooling of buildings. By offering energy professionals and building owners a low-carbon, cost-competitive, and easy-to-install solution to avoid CO2 emissions associated with thermal energy supply and increase the use of on-site renewables, Enerdrape fosters the decarbonization of the building sector.

The Environmental Benefits

  • 1 panel can produce up to 150 W of thermal energy permanently and over the year
  • 1 panel can be installed in less than 15 minutes by two people
  • 200 panels can be placed on a single pallet for efficient transport
  • Up to 80% reduction of CO2 emission vs fossil (gas)
  • To produce 100 MWh, the Enerdrape solution can reduce up to 24 tonnes of CO2 per year compared to a conventional heating system

The Financial Benefits

  • 60% reduction of energy costs vs fossil (gas)
  • Payback time of 6-8 years for a 25-year installation
  • 4-5% IRR
