Identification
Pellet Mexico is developing the biomass and bioenergy market in Mexico. Utilizing residues from the forestry, food and agriculture industries, Pellet Mexico harnesses the energetic potential of biomass, developing a circular economy model in which we connect agricultural activities with the production of energy.
This solution's business model is defined by its regional scope and partnerships with local companies that own the residues from which solid biofuel production is made possible. Pellet Mexico thrives to replace fossil fuel by biofuels in the industrial, tourism and domestic industry. Pellet Mexico's solution is capable of reducing by 25-45% the heat-based energy consumption costs and mitigating CO2 emissions. By 2022, Pellet Mexico expect to produce up to 26,000 tons of solid biofuel (mostly pine pellets) and replace up to 13,208,995 litres of diesel and 19,440,497 litres of LPG gas per year and resulting in a reduction of 364,666 tons of CO2e annually.
