About

Navalt has pioneered solar-powered electric boats since the launch of India’s first zero-emission ferry 'Aditya' in 2017. Navalt’s focus is to reduce energy utilization in the shipping industry with our expertise in design, analytics, and renewable energy. The design & analytics services we offer help optimise the vessels and make them more efficient. The usage of renewable energy helps in minimizing OPEX and nullify emissions. 'Aditya' is an example where all three converge. 'Aditya' has now completed 5 years of successful operation. The ferry achieved breakeven in 2019 and is generating profit for the Kerala Government. We have implemented the same innovative technology in ferries, leisure boats and fishing boats. Navalt envisions a more efficient water transport system that doesn't use fossil fuels. We have combined the advancements in Electric Vehicle technology, Naval Architecture and Photovoltaics, to build our boats. We are also the creators of Oceanix, a marine data-driven energy management system dedicated to improving vessel performance and cost reduction for ship owners and managers.
