ShipReality is a US start-up, founded in 2018 and based in Athens, that develops state-of-the-art XR (Virtual /Augmented /Mixed Reality) software for the shipping industry, addressing decarbonization, environmental regulation compliance, and remote operations. Our 3D ship design software provides the only end-to-end collaboration solution for fast and efficient retrofits of the 60,000 ships that require GHG reduction, green energy conversions and BWTS installation with generative design in 3D space, VR/AR visualization of as-built 3D geometry point clouds layered with 3D CAD designs and instant streaming of entire ship models on wearable XR headsets like Oculus Quest 2 and HoloLens. Our linked native XR applications enable remote operations with spatial computing for 90,000 ships that rely on experts traveling for support & inspections and are building blocks for a range of ship lifecycle applications such as predictive maintenance and autonomous operations offering savings, efficiency and substantial reduction of the environmental footprint of ships. Founded by 3 Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering professors at NTUA, top experts in marine engineering, geometrical modeling, XR ship design and gaming graphics and a Princeton University engineering classmate, who is our CEO and was a top trader in Wall Street (Salomon Brothers) with extensive US business experience. In addition, our CCO was a senior banker covering shipping at top financial institutions (Goldman, JP Morgan, etc.)
