About

With over 50 year of experience, we have participated in a great deal of projects covering all sectors of the civil engineering. In 1996, we created Esteyco Energía to focus on renewable energy, mainly in wind energy. From that moment on, we have provided civil engineering services, both onshore and offshore, to national and international benchmark clients (Iberdrola, Enel, etc.). With the establishment of the R&D department in 2009, we move forward and created our own patented solutions for offshore wind sector. In this way, we designed and demonstrated the ELISA technology, a GBS foundation, self-transported and self-erected wind turbine which allows for a cost reduction of up to 35% (nowadays, a real-scale prototype is built and in operation in PLOCAN's test area in the Canaries); the WHEEL technology, an innovative floating wind solution with reduced dimension and low-draft that can be installed in any port (nowadays it is in the design phase and it will be demonstrated in 2025); and, at last but not least, the ATOMS solution for O&M activities which allows to perform large corrective actions without the need for jack-ups (it will be demonstrated in Summer 2024).
