Wildfires are a major source of greenhouse gases with over over 5 billion tonnes of CO2 emitted annually across the globe. A paradigm shift is required to curb these emissions by involving the civilian population in two critical ways: through bespoke equipment, which allows for safe deployment and water-efficient operations and through the implementation of best practices at the communal level.
HoZe Solutions has developed a tool which allows any community to safely limit the propagation of the wildfire; the leasing model incites to yearly inspections simultaneously raising awareness and reducing potential losses, be they of local biodiversity or of material value.
