DFD is a french company that develops and produces industrial cleaning machines using supercritical CO2 as a dry cleaning solvant. This innovative technology avoids the use of organic solvents (ex: perchloroethylene...) or the generation of polluted aqueous effluents. It is well adapted to clean complex mechanical parts but also textiles (bulk or in reels). Supercritical CO2 has a well-known action on the bioburden. It can also be used to decontaminate medical devices before sterilization.
