About

NAFICI Environmental Research has developed EcoPulping, an Innovative low carbon patented process to produce paper pulp and valuable co-products from wheat straw or other agricultural residues that are often burnt due to the excess that the farmers cannot use or sell. The process uses little energy, water and chemicals and is economical at small or large scale capacity. This paper pulp can be used to produce moulded products, paper, packaging, or other insulation, boards, or construction products; it is a cost competitive and more sustainable alternative to wood pulp at any capacity. Its technical characteristics make is an excellent pulp to be moulded and replace some plastic products.
