About
Our hydrokinetic river and tidal turbine technology has been developed with the objective of making this electricity production cost-effective and economically viable. Our first production units are already competitive compared to Genset for non-interconnected areas. The two products available now are a 2 kW and a 20 kW device.
We provide also hybrid electricity production system (photovoltaics, batteries, hydrokinetic turbines, etc.) for isolated territories and thus ensure the socio-economic development of these areas. Guinard Energies is targeting larger production units as shown in the demonstrator project for a 250 kW MegaWattBlue® P400 turbine in French Brittany.
In addition, they provide hydrokinetic potential study and in-situ measurements.

The Solar Impulse Efficient Solution label seeks to bridge the gap between ecology and economy, bringing together protection of the environment and financial viability to show that these solutions are not expensive fixes to problems, but rather opportunities for clean economic growth.
